Mission
At Wayve, we believe in a holistic approach to well-being, where what you wear is as important as what you eat and how you move. Our mission is simple yet profound – to provide you with thoughtfully crafted clothing that aligns with your commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
Polyester and other synthetic fibers are derived from petroleum and plastic waste. They are harmful for our health, as they lead to endocrine disruption and fertility problems. To make it worse, synthetic fabrics are one of the top sources of microplastic pollution (a whopping 35%) globally.
We take pride in constructing each piece with natural materials, utilizing fabrics that come directly from the Earth. In a world where synthetic materials dominate, we choose a different path - a path free of plastics and toxins.
While we embrace traditional clothing practices, we also understand that we are living in modern times. Today, we are always connected to devices that emit EMF radiation (i.e. smartphones). Wayve Wear understands the dangers that come with consistent exposure to EMFs, so our garments incorporate fabrics that shield you from electromagnetic waves and keep your body protected.
Wayve is more than a brand – it's a way of living. Our multifunctional designs seamlessly transition from the beach to home to the gym, supporting you no matter what the day has in store.
About the Founder
Hey, I’m Yahli and I founded Wayve Wear. In 2023, I learned about the impact synthetic fibers have on our health and Earth, and started shopping for natural clothing alternatives. While there were a handful of brands out there, I found that most sustainable brands use synthetic fabric blends to produce their "natural" clothes.
And even with the brands that truly use natural materials, I struggled to find options that fit my style at a reasonable price. At that point I decided I would create what I was unable to find. One year later, Wayve Wear was born!
I’m a big advocate of natural living in all aspects, not just clothing. Today, most conglomerates value profits over anything, including the well being of consumers. We can clearly see the consequences of such practices. In the USA:
- 1 in 5 couples struggle with infertility.
- 1 in 3 people are overweight.
- 2 in 3 people are on some sort of medication.
There are many fundamental issues in place, and each one requires awareness to be spread and unique solutions to be offered. My goal with Wayve Wear is to tackle a sliver of these issues via natural clothing.
Your support means the world to me. Thank you!
