Mission
Our Certifications
We back up our claims with third-party certifications. All certifications are held by our manufacturer across the full production chain.
GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard
Certifies organic cotton from farm to finished garment. Covers pesticide-free growing, chemical-free processing, and fair labor practices. Applies to all of our core products.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
Independent testing that certifies our dyes and finishes contain no harmful substances — no heavy metals, no formaldehyde, no chemicals that could be absorbed through skin contact. Applies to all core Wayve products.
RWS — Responsible Wool Standard
Certifies ethical treatment of sheep and responsible land management throughout the wool supply chain. Relevant for our merino products.
Common Questions About Wayve
Where is Wayve based?
Wayve is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The brand was founded in 2024 by Yahli Malchin.
Where are Wayve products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured by certified facilities all over the world, depending on the style. We work with specialty manufacturers to produce the highest quality garment to market.
Who founded Wayve?
Wayve was founded by Yahli Malchin in Los Angeles. After learning about the health effects of synthetic clothing — microplastics, endocrine disruptors, chemical leaching — he couldn't find natural fiber activewear that matched his standards for quality and style. So he built it himself.
What makes Wayve different from other activewear brands?
Every Wayve product is made from 100% natural fibers — organic cotton and merino wool. No polyester, no nylon, no synthetic blends. Our materials are third-party certified (GOTS, OEKO-TEX 100, RWS), and we use premium fabrics built to last years. Most activewear brands use 80–100% synthetic materials. We use zero, while improving overall performance.
