Mission

At Wayve, we believe in a holistic approach to well-being, where what you wear is as important as what you eat and how you move. Our mission is simple yet profound – to provide you with thoughtfully crafted clothing that aligns with your commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

We create our clothing from natural materials because they’re better for your health, more sustainable for the Earth, and offer superior quality that outshines synthetic fibers. We strive to create high-quality, timeless apparel that you can enjoy for years to come.

  • Why did I start Wayve?

After I learned about the effects that polyester and other synthetic clothes have on our health & environment, I made an effort to replace all of my synthetic clothes. When I started looking for natural fiber alternatives, I couldn't find any that were made of high quality materials and fit my style. So I decided to make my own.

One year later, I launched the first Wayve collection and haven't looked back since.

  • What do I care about?

I’m a big advocate of natural living in all aspects, not just clothing. I truly believe that the Earth provides us with everything that we need, yet it feels like many people today are losing touch with their connection to nature. With Wayve, my goal is to help restore that connection, bringing nature’s beauty and balance into our designs, colors, and materials to inspire a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

  • What's the vision?

I want to create a clothing brand that is equally committed to creating healthy, natural products, as it is to making truly fashionable products.

I believe in clothing without compromise. You shouldn't have to choose between style, function, comfort, and health. Wayve is here to bring it all together.

Materials Matter

At Wayve, it is our core belief that the Mother Nature provides us with everything we need to thrive in this life. We follow this ideology through our clothing by only using fabrics that come directly from the Earth - no plastic whatsoever.

Our clothing's "ingredient list" is limited to plant and animal based fibers - organic cotton, different varieties of wool, linen, hemp, leather, and silk. We strive to stay in harmony with nature, so we always use premium, natural materials to craft our garments.

Connecting Clothes to Health

It may not sound obvious at first, but the clothes we wear can directly impact our health. Our clothes are in constant contact with our skin, which acts like a sponge and absorbs anything it touches.

Today, 60% of clothes are made of plastic-based synthetic materials that have been studied and linked to serious health effects. Synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, and spandex expose our bodies to microplastics, PFAs, and other toxic chemicals like BPA and formaldehyde.

Over time, wearing synthetic clothing can seriously impact your hormones, endocrine system, and even your fertility. At Wayve, we believe in a holistic approach to health, one where our clothing plays an integral role in our wellbeing. Check out our natural fiber shorts and invest in your health.

True Sustainability

In the world of fashion, "sustainability" often ties back to the use of recycled fabrics such as recycled polyester. But did you know that recycled polyester is made of old plastic bottles? The truth is, recycled materials are not inherently good for the environment.

While the notion of repurposing waste into clothes sounds nice, the reality is that recycled polyester breaks down into microplastics that are released each wear and each wash. These microplastics end up in our oceans, our air, our soil, and our bodies. Ultimately, they cause more harm than the source plastic they come from and are much harder to clean up. At Wayve we take sustainability seriously, which is why we never use synthetic fibers in our clothing.

  • Plastic ≠ Performance Gear

Recycled polyester is everywhere. Marketed as “sustainable” because it’s made from plastic bottles. But don’t be fooled: it’s still plastic. Still sheds microplastics. Still pollutes the planet. Still disrupts your hormones. The truth? Most activewear brands are dressing you in waste and calling it progress.

  • Nature Was Always Enough

Before synthetic fibers, there was cotton, wool, hemp, and linen. Breathable, durable, and biodegradable. Real materials from the Earth. At Wayve, we didn’t invent anything new. We just listened to what’s always worked and brought it back. Our natural fiber shorts are designed the way nature intended.

  • Healthy For You, Kind to the Planet

At Wayve, we choose materials that work with the body, not against it. No synthetics. No greenwashing. Just naturally high-performing fabrics like organic cotton and merino wool. Made for movement, recovery, and everyday life. Because what you wear should support your health, not work against it.

Our Certifications

We back up our claims with third-party certifications. All certifications are held by our manufacturer across the full production chain.

GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

Independent testing that certifies our dyes and finishes contain no harmful substances — no heavy metals, no formaldehyde, no chemicals that could be absorbed through skin contact. Applies to all core Wayve products.

RWS — Responsible Wool Standard

Certifies ethical treatment of sheep and responsible land management throughout the wool supply chain. Relevant for our merino products.

Common Questions About Wayve

Where is Wayve based?

Wayve is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The brand was founded in 2024 by Yahli Malchin.

Where are Wayve products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured by certified facilities all over the world, depending on the style. We work with specialty manufacturers to produce the highest quality garment to market.

Who founded Wayve?

Wayve was founded by Yahli Malchin in Los Angeles. After learning about the health effects of synthetic clothing — microplastics, endocrine disruptors, chemical leaching — he couldn't find natural fiber activewear that matched his standards for quality and style. So he built it himself.

What makes Wayve different from other activewear brands?

Every Wayve product is made from 100% natural fibers — organic cotton and merino wool. No polyester, no nylon, no synthetic blends. Our materials are third-party certified (GOTS, OEKO-TEX 100, RWS), and we use premium fabrics built to last years. Most activewear brands use 80–100% synthetic materials. We use zero, while improving overall performance.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If the condition is not like new, we cannot honor a refund.

To start a return, you can visit this link or contact us at info@wayvewear.com.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not United States, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

You must ship your return within 14 days of the return label being sent to you. If 14 days are exceeded, we cannot honor a refund.

You can always contact us for any return questions at info@wayvewear.com.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

Due to limited production quantities, we cannot guarantee that exchanges will be available. Returns will be honored, but exchanges will only be possible if the relevant size and color is in stock. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 3 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 3 days for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

As stated previously, if the condition of the garment is not like new or if the return is shipped late, we cannot honor a refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@wayvewear.com.
