The Only Tee You Need

The Only Tee earned its name for a reason. Once you put it on, it'll be the only thing you want to wear. Cut from midweight organic cotton with a premium heavyweight feel, this is the no-logo foundation piece your wardrobe has been missing.

Why Heavyweight Matters

Most tees feel thin and disposable. The Only Tee is intentionally heavier. It drapes better, holds its shape longer, and feels substantial without being stiff. This is a tee built to last years, not seasons.

No Logo. On Purpose.

No logos. No branding on the outside. That's a deliberate choice, because the best basics don't compete with the rest of your outfit. Drop shoulder, slightly oversized and boxy fit. It works with everything.

What's In It (and What's Not)

  • 100% organic cotton. No polyester, no nylon, no synthetic blends
  • Made with GOTS-certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX 100 dyes
  • No microplastics shedding onto your skin during wear
  • Premium midweight construction that improves with every wash

THE PROBLEM

Most activewear is plastic.

Spun from petroleum & plastic bottles

Traps heat & sweat against your skin

Holds onto odor after every wear

Sheds millions of microplastics daily

Synthetic activewear lowers testosterone, introduces toxins, and has been linked to infertility.

FAQ

Organic cotton is cotton grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or GMOs. It’s farmed in healthier soil, uses far less water than conventional cotton, and produces a fiber that’s softer, stronger, and cleaner against your skin.

We use GOTS-certified organic cotton on most garments, which ensures the entire process from seed to dye house meets strict environmental and safety standards.

Merino wool comes from the Merino sheep, known for producing some of the softest, finest wool fibers in the world. Unlike traditional wool, merino fibers are ⅓ the thickness of a human hair, giving them a luxurious, non-itchy feel.

Merino is naturally breathable, temperature-regulating, moisture-wicking, and resistant to odor. We like to call it nature’s performance fiber, since it is perfect for movement apparel.

Merino wool is uniquely engineered by nature for movement:

  • it cools when you’re hot and warms when you’re cold
  • it transfers moisture away from the skin
  • it resists odor even after repeated wear
  • it stretches with the body and springs back

No plastic fiber has replicated this. Merino gives you performance without the petrochemicals.

Traditional wool can be. Merino isn’t.

Merino wool isn't itchy because its fibers are incredibly fine (thin) and flexible, allowing them to bend easily against the skin instead of poking and prickling like coarser, thicker traditional wool fibers.

Measured in microns, merino wool fibers are much smaller (typically 17-21 microns) than standard wool (around 30 microns). If you’ve never worn merino, you’ll feel the difference immediately.

We use OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes on all organic cotton and merino fabrics. These dyes are free from harmful chemicals, heavy metals, and known irritants, making them safer for your skin and the environment.

Yes! It’s one of the benefits of natural fiber clothing, as natural fibers are hypoallergenic. Our fabrics are 100% natural and free from polyester, nylon, spandex, and chemical performance coatings, making them much gentler on sensitive skin.

If you’re avoiding petrochemicals, endocrine disruptors, or microplastics, Wayve is aligned with that lifestyle.

Absolutely. Our clothing is designed for movement of all sorts and we carefully select fibers that will withstand these types of activities. Organic cotton and merino wool both perform exceptionally well during movement, and unlike synthetics, they don’t get swampy, shiny, or plasticky as you heat up.

Organic cotton gives a sturdy, natural feel. It’s soft, breathable, and offers a slight stretch.

Merino wool is also quite soft, and actually works to regulate your temperature.

Merino wool is stretchy, but it doesn’t “snap” back like spandex does. It will mold to your body without irritation or that plasticky cling that you get with synthetic fibers.

Our organic cotton pieces may shrink slightly (within 3–5%) on the first wash if dried with heat.

Merino pieces have natural elasticity and return to shape easily when washed, but avoid high heat to preserve the fiber.

For best results, wash cold and hang dry. Your pieces will hold shape, color, and feel for years.

It’s simple:

  • wash cold
  • use gentle, natural detergent
  • avoid fabric softeners
  • hang dry to preserve shape and fiber integrity, or tumble dry on low heat

Natural fibers don’t need the same chemical care routine synthetics do. Treat them gently and they’ll last a lifetime.
